Thanks to all who attended our first volunteer event at Life Long Access! We had a great time helping them clean up after their annual fundraiser. We are so grateful to everyone who could make it and hope you enjoyed volunteering with us. If you didn't get a chance to volunteer at this event, don't worry there will be more to come! :)

- Normal Parks & Rec Haunted Trail
Get in the spooky season mood by volunteering at this years annual Haunted Trail!
The Haunted Trail is a Halloween event that takes place over five dates every October! We need approximately 100 volunteers for this event from 5:30-9:30 p.m. each evening. You can choose to volunteer for all five nights, just one - or anything in between. Preferred age is High School age or older.
A variety of costumed (provided) and non-costumed positions are available including: portraying characters along the trail, passing out candy and hot chocolate, assisting with face painting, and guest services. Complete details on our Volunteer Flyer (PDF).

- Storm Drain Stencling
Join the Ecology Action Center for some Storm Drain Stenciling! This volunteer activity educates residents about the dangers of storm water runoff pollution, and provides information on how to reduce individual contributions to storm water runoff pollution. Stencil "Drains to Stream, Keep it Clean" at neighborhood storm drains and distribute informational door hangers to remind residents about the dangers of storm water runoff pollution and how they can prevent it. Participants must be 18 years or older or 12-17 years old and accompanied by a guardian. Location to be announced prior to stencil date.
