Goodbye September

What a wonderful whirlwind of a month! Big thanks to everyone who joined us this September, The Heartland Activities Committee (HAC) had a blast, and we hope you did too!
We kicked things off with our HAC Open House, where we met tons of new faces, shared what we’re all about, and had way too much fun doing it. (We’re not saying snacks and swag are our love language... but we’re not not saying it.)
From there, you clicked your heels three times and followed us all the way to Oz for our Wicked Movie Night! Whether you came for the green witch, the Broadway drama, or just to hang with friends, we hope your trip to the Emerald City was everything you dreamed of -flying monkeys and all.
Coming Up: A Creative Night Out at Artful Designs
Next up, we’re taking our HAC magic off campus for a night of artistic adventure at Artful Designs in Normal, Illinois! This paint-your-own pottery studio is all about good vibes and even better designs, from mugs and bowls to funky figurines, you'll get to create something truly one-of-a-kind.
We’re partnering with the talented local artists at Artful Designs for a cozy evening of creativity, conversation, and color. Whether you're a paint pro or just in it for the fun, you’ll love this laid-back, hands-on event.
Heads up: This event is currently full, but you can still RSVP to join the waitlist. It’s first come, first served -and trust us, you don’t want to miss this one!

Pumpkin Painting Party Incoming!
Fall vibes are calling, and we’re answering with pumpkins, paint, and plenty of chill autumn tunes.
Pumpkin Painting Party

WDC Room 1000
11 AM - 3 PM
Come grab a pumpkin, paint it however you like, and relax with snacks and fall music that’ll have you feeling like a main character in a cozy October montage. (Bonus points if you show up in a sweater.)
RSVP is requested so we can make sure there are enough pumpkins to go around -because no one wants to show up to a pumpkin party and leave empty-stemmed.
