Heartland students Jade Bandy & Claire Corrigan are this year's Joe McCauley Art Scholarship winners. The scholarship is reserved for Heartland students who demonstrate commitment to study in the visual arts and/or art history.

The award honors the life of Joe McCauley, who taught thoughts of Heartland students with his unique perspectives on art and on life. The Joe McCauley Art Gallery supports art as a catalyst for thoughtful dialogs that link artistic expression to broader cultural contexts. Bandy and Corrigan's work reflect this expression.

Jade Bandy is in her second year at Heartland studying art education. Jade will spend her Spring 2026 semester in Austria studying art through Heartland's Study Abroad Program.
